Temporary Ban on Entry of Pork Meat Products from Newly Identified Country Suspected to be Affected by African Swine Fever (ASF) Virus

Countries temporarily banned
In the interest of public health and coherent efforts in preventing the entry of the African Swine Fever Virus, the FDA, consistent with DA Memorandum Order No. 80 series of 2022, adopts the temporary banning on the importation, distribution and sale of ALL processed pork meat products from the following country:
- Czech Republic
Likewise, the FDA earlier issued FDA Order No. 2018-133 dated 24 September 2018, FDA Order No. 2019-045 dated 27 May 2019, FDA Order No. 2019-103 dated 30 July 2019, FDA Order No. 2020-1283 dated 07 October 2020, FDA Advisory No. 2021-2504 dated 13 October 2021 and FDA Order No. 2022-1365 dated 25 August 2022 on the temporary ban of pork meat and identifying the following countries infected with the ASF virus, in line with the Memorandum Orders of the DA:
