Documentary Requirements for the Local Shipment of Fresh Frozen Pork Products, Uncooked Processed Pork Products, and Cooked Processed Meat Products from Pink (Buffer) Zone to Yellow (Surveillance) Zones

Effectivity : The Circular shall take effect immediately after its publication and/or posting on the Department’s website, and shall remain enforced unless revoked in writing. 

Documentary Requirements as Provided by the Circular 

To facilitate the safe transport and distribution of fresh/frozen pork products, uncooked pork products, and cooked processed meat from Pink (Buffer) Zone to Yellow (Surveillance) Zone, in accordance with the DA Administrative Circular No. 2, series of 2022, the following documents must be secured: 

  1. For Fresh/Frozen Pork Products 
    1. National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) Certificate of Meat Inspection (COMI) for imported pork; 
    2. NMIS Meat Inspection Certificate (MIC) if locally sourced; 
    3. Certificate of Acceptance issued by the Local Provincial Government of destination as a substitute to the Public-Private Audit (PPA) under Section II of DA Administrative Circular No. 02 series of 2022. 
  2. For Uncooked Processed Pork Products
    • 2.1. Certificate of Product Registration (CPR) issued by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
    • 2.2.  License to Operate (LTO) issued by the FDA
    • 2.3.  Certificate of Acceptance issued by the Local Provincial Government of destination as a substitute to the Public-Private Audit (PPA) under Section II of DA Administrative Circular No. 02 series of 2022.
  3. For Cooked Processed Meats
    • 3.1.  Certificate of Product Registration (CPR) issued by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 
    • 3.2.  License to Operate (LTO) issued by the FDA 
    • 3.3.  Certificate of Acceptance issued by the Local Provincial Government of destination as a substitute to the Public-Private Audit (PPA) under Section II of DA Administrative Circular No. 02 series of 2022. 

 Repeal :  All existing orders, circulars, rules, regulations and issuances or parts thereof which are inconsistent with the provisions of circular are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.
